Are we all shameless Sri Lankans?

It is a shame to refer to all Bhuddist Sinhalese, Muslims and Tamils who are citizens of this country to have an impudence attitude and witness these lawless ruling & social injustice of this regime.
Being a Sri Lankan we always crowing (supremacy) from roof tops that we have a rich heritage of 2500 years behind us and flatter proud of our cultural heritage but it appears that we don’t a back bone to stand up against this social injustice happening to the people of this nation by this monstrous regime. I wonder the members of this regime are really legitimate humans or born to an illegitimate jackal or beast in the jungle that don’t have the fifth sense of any human should have. It is a crime to see that young people are being abducted and killed in cold blood in order to simply be in power. I wish to ask a simple question from the majority parliamentarians who stooge to the lowest to protect this regime, are you eating solid food from the mouth or consuming from a different place because it is very undisguised of you not having a slightest sympathy feeling of the majority poor fellow countrymen who are suffering without a square meal under this heinous rule and heaping injustice committed to the people of this country. We are living under a ruffian ruler, protected by a bunch of numb stooges in the parliament and a politicized judiciary who is capable of changing jurisdictions of the Supreme Court. The government led paramilitary forces are in full force trailing in the white van abducting innocent people who voice against the unlawful activities of the government. People are getting abducted every other day by government led paramilitary/armed groups and subject for abductions, intimidation, torture and killing. The rule of law has gone to the bottom and the denial of justice, the culture of impunity has taken the lead. The regime is trying to gain the popularity by creating antagonism of the Tamil people as a weapon to mislead the majority of Sinhala Buddhist in order to be in power. Who ever criticizes the unjust of the regime is portrayed as unpatriotic. This Rajapakse regime can stay in power only when it culminates the communal hatred within the majority gullible competent Sinhalese. The regime uses stooges such as Vimal weerawansa who instigates communal hatred by speaking to the gallery to the majority, Champka Ranawaka and Ellawela Medananda who instigate undue patriotism to the gullible Buddhist masses. These stooges above don’t have an existence within the Sinhala masses and a place in the Sri Lankan politics if they don’t act in such a way. The other stooges remain in the parliament with the regime is to continue their corruption and engage in unlawful activities with impunity. Some Muslims stooges remain silence watching these unlawful activities of the regime fear of being fired and losing benefits are traders who will do any low profile business to gain money
Academician/clergies such as ven. Maduluwawe sobitha, ven Bellanwila Wimalarathna and Athuruliye Rathna should prioritize to brief and guide the majority Sinhala masses not to fall for this racial agitation which is happening in Sri Lanka from 1956. The Tamil community too should understand that it is not the majority Sinhalese Buddhist who are ethnically communal but it is these politicians who instigate the circumstance and expedient the situation in building hatred among the majority for their own benefit to sustain their regime in power. Harassment of Sandya Ekneligoda -A Statement by the AHRC
(Lanka-e-News-16.April.2012, 4.30PM) The harassment of Ms. Sandya Ekneligoda by the government’s supporters in Geneva and by the Attorney General’s department, for joining the UN Human Rights Council
Mrs. Sandya Ekneligoda was one of the speakers during a side event held on 19th March 2012 during the 19th sessions of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva. The side event was titled “Rule of Law and human rights violations in Sri Lanka: Perspectives from women, minorities and families of disappeared”. She was invited to share her perspectives as the wife of a disappeared journalist / cartoonist Prageeth Ekneligoda and as woman human rights defender who had been engaging with various Sri Lankan legal institutions and government officials as well as international bodies to search for her husband while also advocating more broadly for democratization in Sri Lanka and on the plight and aspirations of families of disappeared. During the side event, Mr. Douglas Wickramaratne, a well known supporter of the Sri Lankan government delegation in Geneva for a number of years, attempted to intimidate Mrs. Ekneligoda by saying that “you are coming to Geneva with a smiling face, you are not a victim”. Immediately after the event, another group of men had come to her, identified themselves as Sri Lankan Muslims and said “We are sad about what happened to your husband, but you should not betray the country, even though we are Muslims, we have come here to defend the country” They also accused Mrs. Ekneligoda of being manipulated by the money of various organizations. Ms. Farah Mihlar, another women human rights defender who was a speaker at the same panel, was also harassed by members of the Sri Lankan Government delegation. A day after returning from Geneva, Mrs. Ekneligoda attended the hearing at the Homagama Magistrate’s Courts (Colombo district) on 26th March 2012. The hearing was an inquiry in connection with Mrs. Ekneligoda’s plea to the High Court to summon Mr. Mohan Peiris, Advisor to the Cabinet of Ministers and former Attorney General, to courts to give evidence in relation to a statement had made in Geneva on 9th November 2011 to the UN Committee against Torture that Mrs. Ekneligoda’s husband had not disappeared, but was living abroad. During the court hearing on 26th March, Mr. Shavindra Fernando, Deputy Solicitor General, appearing for the Attorney General’s department appeared to harass and intimidate Mrs. Ekneligoda by questioning her at length on matters related to her participation in the 19th session of the UN Human Rights Council. Mrs. Ekneligoda asserted that she although she will respond to these questions she felt that these were not relevant to the question at hand – summoning Mr. Peiris to give testimony to courts. When Mr. Fernando questioned Mrs. Ekneligoda about what she expected from the courts, she emphasized that her aim was to find her disappeared husband or at least his bod. Mr. Fernando then asked whether she trusts the judiciary, she answered ‘yes’ to which he asked ‘Then why did you take this matter up internationally? Mrs. Ekneligoda was asked why she complained about her husband’s disappearance to the UN and she responded that this was her right and that the UN’s Working Group on Disappearances is mandated by member states of the UN to receive such complaints. Mr. Fernando asked who invited and paid for expenses of the visit to Geneva and whether she received any money. The defense objected saying the questions did not pertain to the objective of the case, to which Mr. Fernando replied “I am entitled to ask any question to find out whether international organizations and NGO’s are provoking something against the state”. Mrs. Ekneligoda responded that she had been invited overseas several times by various organizations, such as the Cartoonist’s Rights International Network, IMADR and this time by a coalition of German NGOs. She also explained that all her expenses, including travel costs, accommodation, meals were covered by the hosts and that she was provided per-diem for expenses on days the hosts didn’t provide meals. She was also asked whether she spoke at a side event and she answered that she had. Mr. Fernando also asked her whether she was aware that the government of the Unites States of America had tabled a resolution on Sri Lanka which was to be voted on few days after the side event and Mrs. Ekneligoda responded that she was indeed aware of this, as this had been reported extensively in various media in Sri Lanka before she left Sri Lanka for Geneva.
This questioning took most of the time, close to an hour, while there was very little said in terms of getting Mr. Peiris to testify in courts about his statement that the disappeared journalist was in a foreign country. Mr. Fernando tried his best to prevent Mr. Peiris being summoned to courts by saying that the certified copy of the transcript of Mr. Peiris’s statement provided by the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights couldn’t be taken as a true copy and that it was not proper to summon Mr. Peiris, as he (Mr. Peiris) had made that statement about the disappeared journalists whereabouts as an official representative of the Government. During the early stage of the questioning by Mr. Fernando, Mrs. Ekneligoda said that it was around 9.30 pm on that fatal day that she suspected that her husband might have been abducted and that since it was late in the night she could not go to the police station to make a complaint and that it was only the next morning at about 10 am that she was able to find someone to accompany her to the Police. When asked why she did not go then and there to the police station, she said there was nobody to go with her at that time of the night. Mr. Fernando then asked her why she didn’t take her elder son who he said must be 18 years old. She corrected him by saying that when this incident happened he was only 16 years old. This line of questioning showed a lack of appreciation of the fact that this mother must have been fearful of taking an underage child for company and rushing to the police station at 10 pm in the night, just after her husband’s disappearance. The line of questioning appeared to be aimed at establishing that it was wrong for a family of a disappeared person to complaint to the UN and attend sessions of the UN Human Rights Council and to show that Mrs. Ekneligoda was getting money from foreign organizations and betraying the country. The line of questioning was also thoroughly unsympathetic towards a woman who was already in great anguish after the husband's disappearance, especially after she repeatedly told court that her children were traumatized by this shattering experience. These criminals associated with the raging white van murder syndrome had been freed from the police custody unlawfully and taken away by Western zone seiner DIG Anura Senanayake who had arrived at the police station early morning at about 4.40 yesterday . Anything of this most lawless Idi Amin style operation had not been recorded in the police registers.

A civilian has been the driver of the white Van No. W P CC 8649 . His name is Samaratunge Mudiyansalage Samaratunge. This is a vehicle that had been acquired by the Govt.
These four Army officers are attached to the Army Headquarters , Colombo without any specific duties. Recently they have been transferred to the 13th Corps of the Vavuniya Army Headquarters. However , they perform their duties following instructions from the Army Headquarters , Colombo. These criminal white Van operations are carried out under Army chief of staff division, Director General , Major Gen. Jagath Alwis following directives from President Rajapakse and defense Secretary Gotabaya . The Mayor of Kolonnawa UC , Raveendra Udaya Shantha who was lucky enough to escape in the white Van abduction attempt explained to Lanka e News how the white Van criminals were surrounded by the people and handed over to the police…..
‘ It is the same group that murdered my younger brother who came to murder me yesterday. I had started a sports society , and we assembled at the ground to discuss the Society’s three months progress. As the enemies of mine , the Kodagoda’s came to the ground , I became suspicious. At the same time I heard the white van has also arrived.
They were there from 4.00 p.m. We too were watchful. At about 6.00 we were surrounded. I phoned the Wellampitiya police and said , that like how my brother was abducted , the white van has arrived and is trying to abduct me. The van tried to take off when the police was coming. There were 4 individuals in the Van. When our people were surrounding them , one of them shot at me. I also shot with the official pistol in my possession. One of them fled and escaped . Those in the van were caught. Later , when they were given two or three fist shots after putting them on the ground , they screamed ‘ we are from the Army’. A person who had seen the abduction of my brother came and identified one of the culprits, saying, this culprit was there when my brother was abducted. Later they were handed over to the police. But now , according to information received from the police station, the criminals have been forcibly taken away by police personnel. My life is in grave danger right now ’, the Kolonnawa UC Mayor said with apprehension.
After these murderers were handed over to the Sub Inspector Lakmal of the Wellampitiya police, ASP Soysa and SSP P.S. .C. D Silva of Nugegoda police zone have appeared at the Wellampitiya station and tried to get the criminals released. An army truck too had come over there . The people who had surrounded the police had disallowed the criminals from being removed from the station. However , after the large crowds had gone away at about 1.00 to 2.00 in the dead of night , Anura Senanayake . DIG of the western zone had arrived at the police station at about 4.40 in the early morning , got the suspects released and taken them away.
Although the police should have recorded in its daily record of the criminals handed over by the people , no such entries have been recorded.. When criminals who have attempted to commit murder are handed over by the people to the police , under the criminal procedure code , they should be arrested by the police for heinous crimes.
It is a grave crime coming under section 21. Hence , despite the seriousness of the crime , the police making no record in its books is a very serious offence illustrating the raging lawlessness in the country.
The Rajapakse regime that has by now acquired a notoriety for its lawless culture , had released these murderers from police custody unlawfully , and has even gone so far as to transfer the Wellampitiya station OIC S. .A. R. Samaranayake to the field police headquarters with immediate effect.

These criminals have told the police that they are a group apprehending army deserters , and are enjoying full support and patronage of the defense Minsitry. May we point out , in case the defense Ministry is ignorant of the law , that it is the military police who should apprehend army deserters and not illicit army groups.
No matter what , these criminals guilty of heinous crimes had been freed from the police without caring two hoots for the sacrosanct laws of the country by the police higher ups themselves reminiscent of the days of the brutal reign of Idi Amin, the former Uganda Dictator. Mahinda Rajapakse , a byword for lawlessness had very often been described as Idi Amin reincarnation both for his looks and criminalities.
Hitherto , it was not known for sure who were those truly behind the white van abductions and crimes committed with absolute impunity. Now , with clear and cogent evidence it has been proved beyond any trace of doubt the criminal pair behind are, the President Rajapakse himself and his brother Gotabaya Rajapakse who are the authors , orchestrators and perpetrators of these ghastly and ruthless murders and abductions . It is very unfortunate that the President who had been elected democratically on the votes of the people , and who made grandiloquent promises to uphold democracy and law , after being ably supported by his murderous brother Gota had been targeting innocent civilians for their summary executions.
The partners in crimes , the brothers , Mahinda Rajapakse and Gotabaya Rajapkse by scheming to kill their own Govt. representative of the people – the Kolonnawa UC Mayor , had demonstrated to the people they are cold blooded murderers directly responsible for all the countless murders and abductions so far involving the white van.
The whole world has been made known that Sri Lanka is a country that is being ruled by two murderers and not one , thereby surpassing even Idi Amin who murdered solo sans partners .

Killer driver of white Van now known : when children of victims are in tears , can killers be allowed to enjoy new year? There is no option but to take just laws into the hands

Now we are furnishing full details of the driver of the white van. The individual in this photograph had been engaged in countless number of white van crimes.

It is this criminal who was the driver of the white Van bearing this above noted Reg. number which transported the killer squad that tried to abduct Raveendra Udaya Shantha . the Kolonnawa local Council Mayor about a month ago – that is on the 10th of March. This ruthless murderer of the Forces has been given permission to roam anywhere away from the camp. This army corporal while performing duties of an army driver has been driving the criminal white van to unlawfully commit crimes of abduction and disappearances . Hence , he should compulsorily be taken into custody and interrogated.
We have now passed the stage of patience and idly watching the abduction of law abiding citizens in our own midst and before our own eyes. We now urge the people to take the just laws into their hands against these criminals and those unjust elements promoting them , as there is no other remedy to eliminate lawlessness and curb crimes in the country.
Lawyers are requested hereby to come forward to champion the cause of justice . When these abductions are raging in this country , they are only issuing a media announcement against it , and looking the other way. Even there , such an announcement is made only when a high profile person is a victim. What can we expect from the Lawyers who remain as idle spectators amusing themselves when a suspect brought to court is abducted in the white van while he is still in the court premises ? Why cannot the lawyers in the least take a photograph of the crime scene using their mobile phone which they so greedily use to rope in their clients ? What is the solace the relatives of the victims abducted at least one daily expect from a legal sphere abounding with Lawyers who don’t care two hoots even after the criminal white van intrudes into the court premises and commits illegal abduction ? Can the lawyers ease their conscience as legal sentinels by just picketing for a few hours over this?
The opposition parties are no better . The most they do is hold a media briefing blabber something to justify their worthless existence. What the media says is repeated by them before the media. MaRa regime’s white van criminals caught red handed when trying to abduct Kolonnawa UC chairman
(Lanka-e-News-10.March.2012, 11.30PM) For the first time , the Rajapakse regime white Van criminals had been caught red handed by the people. Bayagotha’s armed group is now moving heaven and earth to get them released.
According to reports reaching Lanka e news , the white Van episode in this case is as follows :
A group of 4 criminals had arrived in a white Van at about 10.00 p.m. tonight and tried to abduct the Kolonnawa local council Chairman, Raveendra Udayashantha, when he was in Meetotamulla area . Udayashantha who had somehow escaped has with the support of the people of the area surrounded the criminals and not allowed them to escape. The criminals had been handed over to the Wellampitiya police. The number of the vehicle in which the criminals have arrived is W P CC 8649.
Later , an army truck that came to the police station where the white van is held in custody , is taking every step to get the white Van inmates released . Meanwhile the people have surrounded the police and are demonstrating strongly against these criminal activities of the regime.

Incidentally , some time ago , the brother of the Chairman Udayashantha was similarly abducted in the white Van at Meetotamulla. Until today , his whereabouts are not known.

Even before 24 hours had elapsed after the regime released the white Van murderers, another abduction committed by them

These criminals were caught red handed by the people and handed over to the police a day ago . As though ‘Idi Mahin’ wants to prove that there is rhyme and reason to call him Idi Amin , the former Uganda ruthless killer dictator , not even before 24 hours had elapsed since the last murder attempt was made on the Kolonnawa UC Mayor, Idi Mahin’s criminal white van had taken toll of another victim, a civilian. Today at about 7.00 in the morning, the white van had abducted an individual called ‘Malu Priyantha’ residing at garden 34 , Borella. A complaint has been made to the Borella police . This action of the Govt. is a clear demonstration that it cares two hoots for the laws or the citizens of the country and will even stoop the level of an underworld criminal and liquidate anybody who crosses its violent lawless path it is taking.
Meanwhile the Wellampitiya police station OIC , S A R Samaranayake who was given a transfer out because he acted duly and lawfully arresting the white van criminals in the attempted murder episode , is in fear of his safety and life , reports say. The senior DIG Anura Senanayake had furiously berated the OIC, suspecting that the latter had given out the information to the media. It is learnt that no entries were made in the police registers of the murderous criminals following instructions of the DIG.
