Retired generals summoned for president’s election campaign!

Defence secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has summoned, with immediate effect, several retired major generals to carry out the election campaign of president Mahinda Rajapaksa.
He has taken the step since almost all SLFP electoral organizers in Colombo district are in a dilemma following Maithripala Sirisena’s candidature as the common opposition candidate, and most of them have become inactive.
Under ‘operation segment – ii’ four retired major generals have been appointed to Colombo, dividing the district into four zones, similar in manner to a military operation.
Retired Maj. Gen. K.B. Egodawela will be in charge overall and the mobile phone number allotted to him is 0777314560. His chief coordinator is retired Maj. Gen.G. Jayasundara, whose mobile phone number is 0771088401.
Colombo district has been divided into Kolonnawa (Group - 1), Kotte (Group - 2), Maharagama (Group - 3) and Dehiwala (Group - 4).
Commanding officer for Kolonnawa is retired Maj. Gen. Wasantha Bandara (mobile no. 0785213968), while retired Maj. Gen. Seewali Wanigasekara (mobile no. 0777274014) will be in charge of Kotte, and retired Maj. Gen. Palitha Fernando (mobile no. 0773243032) oversees Maharagama, with Maj. D.L Attanayake (mobile no. 0771088405) who is still in service, will be assisting him.
In addition, four civilians have been appointed to coordinate civilian affairs. They are B.A. Sanath for Dehiwela, W.M.A.S. Subhash Weerasinghe for Kolonnawa, Nimal Somaratne for Kotte and Chinthaka Suranga for Maharagama.
In addition, the defence ministry has introduced a coded military network that covers the entire island.

Ballot paper machine at Welisara Navy camp!

A lathe machine at Welisara Navy Camp has been dismantled and an imported printing machine is being placed there instead, say sources at the camp. This location has been declared out-of-bound for the naval ratings. Coordinator in this task is Yoshitha Rajapaksa, Navy officer and the second son of the president.
The sources that gave the information say that plans have been made to print fake ballot papers using this machine. A two-storey house in front of a well close to the Narahenpita public fair has been given for the use of a special unit being supervised by the Presidential Secretariat to disrupt facebook, twitter and other social media sites.
Activities pertaining to the releasing of the election results are to take place here using Chinese technology. Await further details. We warn that if they do not withdraw immediately from this illegal activity, we will expose the identities of all persons involved in this.

Discussion over a mysterious printing press in a Navy camp

A discussion has now commenced on certain media about a mysterious printing machine that has been recently purchased by the ruling party.
The report was first published on Lanka News Web stating that a newly purchased high tech printing machine from Germany was to replace an existing printing machine at the Welisara Navy Camp.
The purchase, installation and operation of this new machine were reportedly being carried out by a son of a powerful member of the government and a group of selected navy personnel.
German experts were also to be brought down to install the printing press.
However, following reports in the web media as well as a private electronic media channel, the printing press was to be transferred on Wednesday (3) to another location.
According to reports, the press was to be taken to the Navy camp in Trincomalee by a group of selected navy personnel.
However, there were doubts on whether the printing machine would be taken to Trincomalee or a secret location due to the prominence received by the matter in the media.
Private television station, TNL TV reported on this issue and highlighted that a public discourse has commenced over the newly acquired printing press and doubts were cast whether it was brought to print material targeting the forthcoming Presidential election. |

(Lanka-e-News- 29.Nov.2014, 11.20AM) It has come to light that the Rajapakse regime is hatching a conspiracy to impose a ban on sms (short message service) messages during the terminal period of the forthcoming Presidential elections , Mangala Samaraweera disclosed at a media briefing held last-day .
This revelation being made by no less a person than a former telecom and communication Minister Mangala Samaraweera , now a UNP M.P. is specially noteworthy.
The defense Ministry has had discussions with chiefs of the mobile phone service companies in this connection. It had been conspired to bar these exchange of sms messages by blaming on so called defects in the servers and technical operations, Samaraweera , the former telecom Minister further revealed.
Even communicating by sms is going to be blocked from 2 nd or 3 rd until the 8 th of January .To achieve this objective , a team of the Chinese government that has arrived is holding discussions with the Intelligence division with a view to de -activate these servers , Mangala Samaraweera warned.
Recently , a Sirasa program telecast was obstructed falsely citing the ground that is was due to a technical fault at the Dialog Company, Samaraweera pointed out. It has been confirmed by now that Hans Wijesuriya , the chief of Dialog Co. is not a businessman who can act independently and impartially. Hence , that obstruction of the Sirasa by Dialog Co. can be attributed to Hans Wijesuriya’s ‘technical’ (or mental ?) defect and not Company’s technical defect , Samaraweera noted.

Embattled Rajapakses suffer defeat in cyber contest : Mody’s lackey paid Rs. 100 million to rescue government
(Lanka-e-News- 2014.Dec.03, 4.40PM) The Medamulana Rajapakses who have already faced defeat at the Presidential elections in the cyber battle, have got down an Indian national to the Temple Trees after paying a sum of Indian Rs. 100 million , based on Lanka e news inside information division reports.
The name of this Indian is Arvind Gupta , who during the elections of Indian Prime Minister Mody , monitored latter’s social network . Gupta had arrived in Sri Lanka along with four others on the 21 st of November , and undertaken the monitoring of the Presidential social network campaign of Mahinda Rajapakse .
Gupta and his team have already begun their operations on the second floor of the President’s office at Temple Trees . Working along with them is a Sri Lankan team. Already , based on the social network monitoring, President Rajapakse is a defeated candidate . Hence , the advice of Gupta and his team to Rajapakse was , via clandestine accounts access the social network, and furnish answers favorable to the moribund government .
In the circumstances , if you discover comments in your social network that are extolling the government, and probe who are those maneuvering and manipulating them , you will realize who is behind them and their phony face book accounts . They are none other than Gupta and his team. This Gupta team is here not with the knowledge or approval of the Indian government. The contracted payment to them is Ind. Rupees 100 million which in SL currency is over Rs.200 million . 30 % of the contracted amount has already been paid , and it has been remitted to India illegally. It is learnt that by now , the Indian anti corruption squad is getting ready to commence action against Gupta to legally reveal how these monies were obtained.
It may sound strange but it is true , while Gupta is manipulating the social network on the second floor of Temple Trees , the Chinese nationals on the lower floor are engaged in hacking the anti government website social network etc. and debarring them.
Meanwhile websites that were operating for some time doing the sordid biddings of the government via sly and slimy methods ,while masquerading as enemies of the government have now come to the open; they are currently promoting the government’s foul objectives through secret agendas. These websites were banned falsely to give the impression these are anti government websites. At the crucial moments they display their true colors to boost the insidious agendas of the government .
One illustration of these insidious schemes is : the false news reports in those websites that UNP general secretary Tissa Attanayake was defecting to the government; and he had been paid a sum of Rs. 200 million as advance , which the English editions published. Much to the disappointment and dismay of these schemers and deceivers , Tissa Attanayake categorically announced in Parliament two days later that he would never cross over to the government , and those reports were mendacious.
The present political climate vis a vis the acute desperate state of the moribund government is : while brokers and middlemen of the government are going in search of opposition politicos to give colossal bribes , these unscrupulous websites that have taken bribes from the government are publishing and splashing headline news canards on behalf of the embattled government.
The second strategy is to reveal via a website which is under the pay of the government but masquerading as its enemies , a list of names of the politicos who are actually going to defect from the government to the opposition alongside the opposition progressive journey of Maithri. But the government ploy is to publish via this clandestine website of it that the name list was received from the government describing them as its enemies , and dupe opposition thereby.
By this maneuver of exposing these names , what the government seeks to accomplish is , deter and daunt those government politicos who are truly trying to cross over to the opposition . Moreover it provides the Rajapakse regime with the opportunity to identify those potential defectors and avert the defections while the opposition is deceived into believing that this name list was received by the website because it is anti government.
What these pro government shameless scoundrels did after revealing this name list was ,removing this news posting from the website after a few days.
It is most important and imperative that those who are engaged in the opposition Presidential campaign take precaution against the Chinese hackers and Indian Guptas as well as those Sri Lankan kaputas (ravens) who are remaining close with the opposition but betraying them from top to toe.

Rajapakse regime facing imminent defeat seeks solutions via murders and blame on the LTTE
(Lanka-e-News -02.Dec.2014, 11.30PM) A conspiracy has been hatched to murder a very special VIP or a group by Sri Lanka ‘s (SL) criminal defense secretary during the run up to Presidential elections , and to blame it on the LTTE , in order to prove that the LTTE is back in action, according to reports reaching Lanka e news inside information division. This is a ploy to win the elections by hook or by crook , or to postpone elections, Lanka e news inside information division reports.
Gotabaya had enlisted his advisor Hendavitharane , and the LTTE cadres, Karuna Amman and 'Nilupan Sethiran', to execute this plot. The LTTE identified 'Nilupan Sethiran' at that time by the symbol E-803. He is now kept hidden as a security personnel of Karuna Amman .
In order to accomplish Gotabaya’s murderous and deadly aims ,he had given orders to remove the road barriers during the night , in Colombo and its environs., and to stop the police mobile patrols. In lieu of them , an 'intelligence civil patrol system' of the army civil intelligence division has been introduced.
Gota in order to justify these actions had stated , lately , there is an avalanche of crimes in Colombo and its environs , and the police had been unable to curb them. Hence , the civil intelligence division of the army had been entrusted with this task. Gota alleged falsely that during the elections period , the LTTE is rearing its head again under other names, which is uncontrollable by the police. This is an absolute lie . The true picture is : the background is being created by Gotabaya for the criminals involved to freely conspire to achieve their goals.
The victims of Gotabaya’s target can be opposition party leaders or even front line leaders with him. The clear testimony that his own party leaders are targeted for murder is the withdrawal of the STF soldiers of Wimala Weerawansa recently. Now, those providing security to him are the MSD soldiers only.
It had been reckoned that since the present IGP was an STF Commandant , the STF soldiers are most inclined towards him , which is militating against Gotabaya ’s conspiracy.
The moribund Rajapakse regime which is most certain of MaRa’s defeat at the Presidential elections is resorting to all vile and vicious remedies including cold blooded murders . This is therefore a situation fraught with gravest danger to the country .It is the duty of the political leaders and responsible civilians to take appropriate action immediately without dilly dallying.

Common opposition leaders sign MOU in support of Maithri: JHU too joins later at Maithri’s residence
(Lanka-e-News -02.Dec.2014, 11.30PM)The common opposition leaders supporting their common candidate Maithripala Sirisena at the up coming Presidential elections signed the memorandum of understanding (MOU) yesterday (01) at the Colombo , Vihara Maha Devi park open theater .Prior to this event , a religious ceremony was conducted by the leaders who paid homage to the statue of Lord Buddha with floral tributes at the Vihara Maha Devi park . The religious dignitaries too chanted ‘jaya piritha.’
Ranil Wickremesinghe placed the first signature followed by Maithripala Sirisena . Ven. Maduluwawe Sobitha Thera , the President of the campaign for a just society , former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaranatunge , Democratic party leader General Sarath Fonseka , Mawbima Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna leader Hemakumara Nanayakkara ,Arjuna Ranatunge , Dr. Rajitha Senaratne , M.K.D.S. Gunawardena and Mano Ganeshan also signed the MOU.
The Jathika Hela Urumaya (JHU) , signed a separate MOU with Maithripala Sirisena after the pirith ceremony conducted at Maithri’s residence.

A Common People’s Agenda for Just, Democratic and People-friendly Governance
As Sri Lankans we face several grave challenges. The country, which was once seen as a model of democracy, has degenerated in recent years into a place where its citizens cannot live with dignity and in safety. Among the manifestations of this situation are:
the total breakdown of the Rule of Law,
the erosion of democratic institutions essential for governance,
an unprecedented widening of social disparities and social injustices,
severe strains on co-existence between different ethnic and religious communities and increasing disharmony and distrust.
In this situation, the following program is presented so as to re-establish democracy, good governance, social justice and the rule of law. Accordingly, it is proposed that the present authoritarian and corrupt regime be defeated by fielding a common candidate acceptable to all those in agreement with the programme. The immediate tasks will be implemented within a hundred days, including abolition of the current executive presidency and the re-establishment of a parliamentary form of government. Through a new Parliament the rest of the programme will be fulfilled.
To fulfill the immediate tasks and objectives given below, an All-Party Government will be formed for a period of not less than two years.
Immediate Tasks
The present executive presidential system will be abolished within a hundred days and replaced by a Parliamentary form accountable to the people. Under the Parliamentary system, the President will symbolize national unity and have duties and powers appropriate to the position.
The Eighteenth Amendment to the Constitution will be repealed and the independence of institutions essential for democratic governance, such as the judiciary, police, public service, election authorities, Attorney-General, Auditor-General and independent Commissions re-established and further strengthened.
The current preferential voting system will be abolished. The new electoral system will provide for the just representation of all communities and political opinions and will be a mix of the first-past-the-post system, which ensures that every electorate has its own Member of Parliament, and proportional representation.
The oppressive burden of the cost of living of the people will be reduced through granting of a commensurate increase in salaries of the public service and the private sector; strengthen the industrial, agricultural, plantations, fisheries and small industries components of the economy and guarantee a fair price for local produce; develop an effective social safety net for marginalized groups and the poor and, in particular, for women and children, the elderly, pensioners and disabled persons.
In addition, measures will be initiated in the first hundred days to:
immediately prevent, through greater transparency and accountability, the present unprecedented large scale fraud, corruption, bribery and earning of commissions as well as the wastage of public funds; take action according to law to deal with abuses that have been committed
guarantee the primacy of the Rule of Law, restore democracy on a sustainable foundation of good governance, secure and advance fundamental rights and freedoms, strengthen the right to freedom of expression inclusive of media freedom and the Right to Information, and ensure the right to live in human dignity
further develop the right to live in human dignity through re-establishment of the welfare state, and in particular guarantee the right to high quality free education and health services
empower youth to successfully meet the challenges of the rapidly changing world, in particular through providing essential technical knowledge and skills and training required for high level employment
guarantee dignity and equal opportunity for all citizens in the social, cultural, economic and political spheres
create a civilized and moral society and in particular reform the political culture of the country that has sunk to unprecedented depths.
The political parties, groups and citizen’s organizations that are committed to this People’s Agenda shall dedicate themselves towards achieving its objectives.
